The voter, who applied for the Voter Id Card and complete registration, receives a slip carrying a reference number. If the applicant wants to check the status of the processing of the voter id card then he just needs that reference number to check the status of the voter id card online.

Check Online Application Status of voter id card When you successfully completed the registration process then you can check the status of your voter id card. For checking the status of your application you just need a Reference Number/Application Number.
For the complete process follow the steps below:
Open any search engine according to you and go to the official website of the Chief Electoral Officer.
On the home page of the Chief Electoral Officer website go to the section know the status of your application for enrolment which is highlighted by the green colour as shown in the image above.
If you are a registered user then log in by email and password. If not a registered user then click on Create An Account and give the email id and mobile number and then click on the verify button and verify yourself by OTP which sends to your mobile number. After verification, you have asked to enter a new password after the creation of the password just log in.
In the head section click on Track Status option.
Choose The Application Option. and Enter the reference number and click on the Track Your Status button.
Depending on the progress of your application, you will be able to view various types of status results. If the application is not processed and it is in a pending status, you can bookmark the page to visit later. You can also track the status of your Voter ID by calling 1950 from your BSNL or MTNL telephone.
