Rohit Sharma is an Indian cricket player who plays domestic cricket for Mumbai and he is a captain of Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League . Rohit is a right-handed batsman and an occasional right-arm off-break bowler. He is also vice-captain of the Indian national team for limited-overs format.
Rohit Sharma is an active supporter of animal welfare campaigns. Rohit is the official Rhino Ambassador of WWF-India and he is also a member of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). Rohit has worked with the PETA campaign to increase awareness towards homeless dogs and cats in India.
