Prajakta Koli was in her graduation final semester when she joined a radio channel named Fever 104 as an intern. She wasn’t happy with her job due to pressure and workload so she resigned after 1 year.

Prajakta also tried her luck as a radio jockey, but she faced hard luck and the show was a flop. She met some of the actors during her internship including Hrithik Roshan, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Jackie Shroff. That meeting become a turning point for Prajakta bcoz she noticed Sudeep Lahiri who suggested Prajakta start a YouTube channel because he identified her capability of making comedy videos.

Prajakta started her YouTube Channel "Mostlysane" in 2015 and start making videos an she got a good response to her first video "5 Types of singles on Valentine’s day"
